EDUCATOR Is a small probe which is introduced into the vagina. A rod remains outside the vagina as a simple visual indicator of internal, non-visible contractions of your perineum.
- If the contraction of your perineum is correctly achieved, (ex: with the muscles of the anus tightened and drawn upwards from your body), the indicator will move downwards.
- On the other hand, if your perineum is not contracted correctly (as if you were having a bowel movement) the indicator will move upwards.
EDUCATOR therefore allows you immediately and very simply a satisfactory practice of exercises in complete privacy and helps you to re-muscle your perineum to no longer suffer from incontinence.
The importance of EDUCATOR
It is recognized by incontinence specialists that it is very difficult to teach someone to effectively contract their perineum.
Studies show that, even with very good individual learning, out of 100% of the women concerned:
50% do not contract their perineum correctly
25% "grow" instead of "contract", which risks causing deterioration of the perineum.
Also, it is important to use EDUCATOR correctly and regularly.
