Its unique mode of action

Unlike lumbar belts which immobilize the spine and provide passive support, the physiomat belt stabilizes the sacroiliac joint and achieves sacral counter nutation. There is a decrease in hyperlordosis, self-growth, displacement of the center of gravity and plantar supports, increase in stability and distal strength (scientific studies). This static acts directly on the abdominal strap, strengthening the lower abdominal transverse, repositioning the viscera upwards and backwards, which tones all the deep abdominal musculature, protects the pelvic floor and stimulates perineal toning.
By straightening and positioning the sternum, the diaphragm is more mobile, breathing is freer, blood circulation improved. The column is erected, the muscles of the back are strengthened and the forces developed during the efforts are well reflected towards the sacrum, and not towards the lower abdomen and the urogenital hiatus. Far from being a passive support, the Physiomat belt works the back, abdominal and pelvic muscles.
The positioning of the belt is very important (see video). In no case should it be placed at the lumbar level. The positioning is that of the belts used for belly dancing, for martial arts, for backpacks.

The Physiomat belt does not immobilize but on the contrary increases the dynamic amplitude and the resistance.
It is thus indicated as much in the event of abdomino-perineal weakening as for sports practices and carrying efforts.

Instructions for use and putting on the belt

The belt is placed with the pelvis horizontally, at the level of the sacroiliac joints behind and just above the coxo femoral joint and the pubic symphysis.
The belt is placed on the clothes and does not require undressing to put it on and take it off.

The belt is mainly worn standing up as needed.
It must be easily removed during prolonged sitting, especially for pregnant women.

Duration of use

The belt can be worn until the end of pregnancy, for at least 21 days after delivery and daily without limitation for other indications.
