Test Pessary Set - Milex Ring - 3 Sizes (Large)

This Ring test pessary set is designed to help healthcare professionals determine the correct model and size of pessary for each patient.
Test Ring pessaries have the same dimensions as Milex Ring pessaries (with and without support) intended for patient wear.

Made of medical silicone, they are resistant and sterilizable in the autoclave.

This set contains 3 test ring pessaries, corresponding to the 3 most prescribed large sizes:
• T5 76mm
• T6 83mm
• T7 89mm

Why use test pessaries?

The pessary is a very effective and satisfactory device for 90% of patients, provided that the model, size, and support are appropriate. Statistically, it is necessary to try between 2 and 4 pessaries with a patient to find the right one. Carrying out trials in consultation with test pessaries therefore makes it possible to ensure that the right pessary is prescribed for each patient, and to avoid:

• Have the patient bear the financial cost of purchasing multiple pessaries
• To discourage the patient
• Getting discouraged as a therapist
