What precautions for use before use?
Wash your hands thoroughly before use.
Check that the 4 perforations on the top of the Claricup™ menstrual cup are correctly pierced.
Clean the Claricup™ menstrual cup in warm water with Clarigyna™ intimate shower gel or a mild soap and rinse thoroughly with clean water.
And finally sterilize the Claricup™ menstrual cup, for this you have two options:
Option 1 : place the Claricup™ menstrual cup stem down in its Claribox. Cover with water up to the mark. Leave the lid open and place the Claribox for 5 min at 750 Watt in the microwave.
Option 2 : Immerse the Claricup™ menstrual cup in a pot of boiling water for 7 minutes.
The Claricup™ menstrual cup is now sterile. Wait for the Claricup™ menstrual cup to cool down before using it to avoid the risk of burning and tearing the silicone.
How to use your Claricup™ menstrual cup?
What to do in case of discomfort or leaks?
If you feel discomfort while walking, sitting or if your vagina feels pinched, the stem of the Claricup™ menstrual cup should be cut to fit the length of your vagina. Take the time to get the correct length for your vagina. Cut the rod little by little with clean scissors and reinsert the Claricup™ menstrual cup to check that the rod is resting just inside your vagina.
In case of leaks, reposition the Claricup™ menstrual cup one knuckle from the entrance to your vagina. Check the rod length.

run a finger around the Claricup™ menstrual cup to check that it is fully open in your vagina.
pinch the base of the Claricup™ menstrual cup to rotate it into your vagina.
How to clean and maintain your Claricup™ menstrual cup?
It is important that your Claricup™ menstrual cup is always clean.
Clean your Claricup™ menstrual cup regularly with Clarigyna™ intimate shower gel or mild soap. Never use petrochemicals (Vaseline), essential oils, harsh cleaners, scented soaps or dishwashers to clean Claricup™.
Rinse your Claricup™ menstrual cup thoroughly with clear water.
During your period, sterilize your Claricup™ menstrual cup in the morning and in the evening, you have two options:
Option 1 : place the Claricup™ menstrual cup stem down in its Claribox. Cover with water up to the mark. Leave the lid open and place the Claribox for 5 min at 750 Watt in the microwave.
Option 2 : Immerse the Claricup™ menstrual cup in a pot of boiling water for 7 minutes.
At the end of your cycle, after cleaning, dry the Claricup™ menstrual cup well with a clean cloth to avoid odors and keep it in its Claribox until your next period. Claribox can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
Over time, your Claricup™ menstrual cup may discolour, but this does not affect its effectiveness. If you notice a tear or any other change in the appearance or texture of your Claricup™ menstrual cup, we recommend that you replace it. If you respect the conditions of use and maintenance, the menstrual cup Claricup™ can be used for 5 years.
Warnings/Contraindications:
The Claricup™ menstrual cup is not a contraceptive.
If you wear a contraceptive such as an IUD or a contraceptive ring, ask your doctor for advice before using the Claricup™ menstrual cup.
The Claricup™ menstrual cup does not protect against sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).
Remove the Claricup™ menstrual cup before having sex.
Do not use the Claricup™ menstrual cup if you are allergic to the component(s).
After childbirth, surgery, miscarriage or abortion, wait for the vagina to recover before using the Claricup™ menstrual cup.
In case of vaginal infection, treatment with egg or any other intravaginal cream, it is advisable to use a sanitary napkin during this period.
In case of irritation, sensation, burning, urinary discomfort, pain, stop use immediately and contact your doctor.
