Clyster Basic by REPROP

Reprop consists of a handy bottle for the liquid (750 ml) with ventilation valve, an extension with a non-return valve and a rectal probe. The valve mechanism allows easy manual pumping and a hygienic procedure.
Without Bisphenol.

Manual :
To perform an enema, fill the bottle with warm tap water, sit on the toilet or lie down on your back, insert the moistened rectal probe into the colon and pump at your own pace until emptying the bottle. Defecation is activated a few moments later. If necessary, repeat the operation.

Instructions for hygiene and cleaning:
Wash the probe and the extension with water and soap, and clean them at the end of each enema.

Further information :
Enema in case of constipation:
The accumulation of gas in the intestine is responsible for bloating and the abundant evacuation of gas. The enema can remove intestinal gas and gas-forming bacteria.

Enema for faecal incontinence and colostomy:
The purpose of the enema is to empty and cleanse the bowel at the desired time. Thus, it is generally no longer necessary to empty the patient's bowel for several hours.

Enema in case of ulcerative-hemorrhagic recto-colitis:
The clyster allows the introduction of anti-inflammatory drugs into the ileum in case of inflammation of the left colon.

Enema during pregnancy:
Pregnant women can perform an enema up to the 20th week of pregnancy to empty the bowel. Indeed, constipation is common at the beginning of pregnancy. At least a third of pregnant women are affected. The high production of progesterone is the cause. It causes a general relaxation of the smooth muscles of the intestine, the latter then works in slow motion, and this causes constipation.

From the 21st week of pregnancy, the enema should only be performed on the advice of a midwife or a gynecologist; contractions can be induced under certain circumstances.

Enema before childbirth:
An enema can be performed in preparation for childbirth if recommended by a midwife or gynecologist. The fact that the bowel is empty after an enema can relieve the contractions. This prevents bowel contents from leaking out during flare-ups.

Enema before diagnostic examinations and therapeutic measures:
The enema can be done before diagnostic examinations and operations in the anorectal region (eg before colonoscopy).

Natural medicine, use in case of fasting:
In case of fasting, cleaning your colon is as essential as drinking enough. Fasting causes intestinal sluggishness because the intestine is no longer filled frequently. Daily bowel movements are no longer frequent. Faecal residue can ferment and rot. The substances thus produced (eg ammonia) affect the body and the detoxification organs (liver, kidneys), which can cause unpleasant symptoms such as headaches and fatigue. Regular enemas prevent them and make it possible to considerably increase well-being during the fast.
