Choice of size

Take into account the diameter of the areola which does not need to be entirely covered by the shells:

Size small: areola up to 4.5 cm

Average size: between 4.5 cm and 6 cm

Large size: 6 cm and +

Using advice :

After feeding, pour a few drops of end-of-feeding fat milk on the nipples then cover directly with the shellfish. Don't overtighten your bra.

Wash the shells regularly in hot soapy water. It is possible to use nursing pads over the shells in case of abundant flow of milk.

In case of treatment with a breastfeeding cream, the shells help keep it in contact with the nipple.
